Valentine's Day Contest - Great Entry #7

Bloomex is currently running a contest, open to residents of Canada, the United States, and Australia, to let us know why they, or a loved one/friend, deserve a bouquet of free roses this Valentine's Day. 

My partner has been battling a stage four brain tumor, glioblastoma mulitforme. that was finally diagnosed and mostly removed last July. (Prior it was a year of seizures, hospitalizations, accidents, and cognitive decline with no diagnosis). Even after much of the mass removed, the prognosis was very poor. After the surgery he's been getting chemo and radiation, healthy food, exercise when he can, and lots of love and prayers from friends and family.

We just found out his tumor has decreased significantly! It felt like we won the lottery! He better, has a cheerful, helpful attitude and is almost entirely independent.
Please help me congratulate him and show him some love.

My Aunt is a gracious women and was so full of vim and vigor until a lung disease limited her freedoms.  At the moment she is confined to her apartment as each breath is exhausting and energy levels are at a minimum.  The Doctors do not have a diagnosis for this affliction and have been treating her with prednisone.  This helped for awhile however they are trying to wean her off of the drug for safety reasons.  The lower the dose the worse she feels.  Even talking is difficult when you can’t get your breath.

My beautiful Aunt has been a kind, generous, unselfish, caregiver all her life and I feel she could use a Bloomex Boost.

How to Send Flowers for Valentine's Day in Canada

Valentine's Day is one of the most highly anticipated holidays of the year. Couples around the world show their love on this day by exchanging gifts, and quite often, flowers.

If you're in Canada, follow these steps to ensure that your flowers arrive on February 14, and make it a V-Day to remember in 2014!

1. Log on to bloomex.ca.

3. Find your desired products and click the image underneath that says 'add to cart.'

Bloomex Spreads the Love this Valentine's Day

With Valentine's Day fast approaching, Bloomex.ca has once again partnered with the Canadian Cancer Society to publish a unique Valentine gift in where a percentage of sales will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society for cancer research. In December, Bloomex.ca announced the launch of the Give Hope basket that was also uniquely designed for the Canadian Cancer Society. The success of the basket was beyond expectations. A staggering 164 Give Hope baskets were bought during Nov. 20th and December 31st, raising over $1,300 for cancer research.

Bloomex & Canadian Cancer Society's Partnership Continues to Flourish

OTTAWA, January 19th, 2008- On November 16th, 2008, Bloomex announced the launch of the Give Hope Christmas Basket, custom-made gift basket specially designed for the Canadian Cancer Society. This basket would be available from November 20th to December 31st, in where 20% of the sales of this Give Hope basket would be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society.

With the Give Hope Basket campaign now at it's end. Bloomex is proud to report that 164 baskets were sold during the holiday season to raise over $1,300.00 just from the sales of the Give Hope Basket.
